Totally disagree, they've messed with it enough over the years, like they have most sports, all because of TV and advertisement, OK most sports would struggle without either, but lets have the FA Cup games played on Staurday afternoons again, not at 1pm and 6pm on a Sunday.

Disagree, especially about the CL place. Clubs should not need an incentive to win the FA Cup.

The CL should be for the champions only anyway. Fucking crazy when finishing 4th is considered a succesful season.

There's something to be said for only the champions playing in the Champions League, but would sponsors really be as excited about a tournament that only has Real Madrid OR Barcelona? Only one from AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus? And, of course, just the one English team?

The name is a bit misleading though - perhaps it should be called the European Cup again.

maybe not but the last 16 is almost always composed of the same 10-12 teams plus odd ones who get through one season.

Can you imagine the likes of a Nottingham forest winning it these days?

Yeah the advertisers have made it impossible to only have the Champions in the Champions League these days, its them and the TV companies that are the real bosses, and if David Beckham is playing garbage, you can bet your bottom dollar he'll play both games for Milan against Man United.

Decent point for Man United, played with 10 men for a hour.

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy: "It's been proved throughout the season you can get points off the big boys. Who's to say we can't get points off Chelsea and Man Utd."

Well, er....you, actually, that's why you didn't try at Old Trafford & sent your reserves instead.

Thick twat. Who said Spurs were one of the big boys anyway????

Yep, although I think they are out of the title race. They are always the same, play well for 75% of the season but when the going gets tough, they seem to fall away from the top and end up miles behind.
