Med Board Goes After Murray with a Vengeance

Dr. Conrad Murray is a "danger to the public" -- according to the medical board that licensed him to practice medicine in California.

The Medical Board of California was shut down today by the judge in Murray's involuntary manslaughter case. The Board wanted the judge to immediately stop Dr. Murray in his tracks from practicing medicine as a condition to bail.

According to documents filed with the court, the Board believes Murray showed, "utter disregard for the care and well-being of the persons entrusted to his care" -- namely, Michael Jackson.

The Board wants the judge to step in stat because it takes the Medical Board a long time to yank a doctor's license. The Board

In the end, the judge would only go as far as order Dr. Murray not to administer anesthetics, including Propofol.

I didn't realise until today that it was up to the courts to decide whether or not to revoke medical licenses.

In the UK, it's up to the General Medical Council (GMC). Even if you murder someone, you're still licensed to practice until the GMC come after you.

Yea, that's strange, too. If the Medical Board in CA are wanting his license revoked, I wonder why the judge didn't listen to them?

I agree. I've seen little bits here and there and it's too gruesome for me to want to read it any further. Shame that every little detail is there for anyone to read.

Well, in the US, that kind of information is available on anyone who died, really. It's usually not posted on the net, though, but I bet it is somewhere. It's just not that they are high profile people enough for anyone to care.

Well, what this has done is slam and shut up the haters who said he bleached his skin because he wanted to be white. That's a good thing! It's also put to rest some stupid rumors about other things, even said by his friend, Dick Gregory. Of course what Dick said was just supposition and he wasn't saying he knew for sure.

But the best parts are that we now seen what his health was really like and that's good too. Unless of course, parts of the report are false. They do state he weighed 136, I believe. Well, duing the last trial , his weight was listed as 120 which does not make any sense at all. He was thinner when he died than during the trial.
